How Rapidkil Pest Control collects, uses and protects your personal information.

Rapidkil Pest Control (QBCC Licence 15104001) is a family-run pest and termite business servicing Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich and surrounding areas. We are committed to handling personal information openly and carefully, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What personal information we collect
The personal information we collect is what you choose to give us: your name, phone number, email address, your property’s address, and details about the pest issue you’d like help with. If you become a client, we also hold records of the services we’ve provided at your property and invoicing details. We do not ask for, and ask that you do not submit, sensitive information through our website.
How we collect it
We collect personal information in four ways. Through our website enquiry form, which is processed by our Australian job-management provider and creates your enquiry in our system. Through the Rapidkil Assistant, our website chat — your messages are processed by our AI service provider in order to generate replies, and conversations, including any contact details you share, are passed to our team so we can follow up. Directly, when you call, email or SMS us. And through cookies and similar technologies when you browse our website, described below.
Why we collect and use it
We use personal information to respond to enquiries and provide quotes, to schedule, deliver and document pest control services, to invoice for work performed, to send service communications such as annual inspection reminders, to keep records required for warranties and by law, and to improve our website and services. We do not sell personal information to anyone.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the trusted service providers that help us run the business: our job-management and scheduling platform, our AI assistant provider, our accounting and invoicing software, our email and document storage provider, and the analytics and advertising platforms described below. Each provider is engaged under terms governing how they may handle information. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Overseas disclosure
Some of our service providers store or process information outside Australia — principally in the United States, where our AI assistant provider and our analytics and advertising platforms operate. Where information is handled overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is treated consistently with this policy.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies through Google (Tag Manager and Analytics) and Meta (the Facebook Pixel) to understand how the site is used and to measure our advertising. These tools may collect device and browsing information such as pages visited and an advertising identifier. We do not use this data to identify you personally. You can manage cookies in your browser settings, and manage advertising preferences directly with Google and Meta through their ad settings pages.
How we store and protect it
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including using reputable providers with modern security practices and limiting access to the team members who need it to do their work. We keep personal information only as long as it is needed for the purposes above, for warranty periods, and to meet legal obligations, after which it is deleted or de-identified.
Anonymity
You are welcome to ask general questions — about our services, pricing or coverage — without identifying yourself, by phone or through the Rapidkil Assistant. We do need your contact and property details to provide quotes and carry out services.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate or out of date — contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable period. If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, please raise it with us first and we will work to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as our services or the law change. The current version will always be published on this page with its last-updated date.
